OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING OF THE
LAMBERTVILLE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH WEB SITE!

July 28, 2007

We are proud to announce that Lambertville Neighborhood Watch now has it's very own domain  http://www.lnjnw.org

Establishing a web presence aids us in achieving our goal of providing a safer environment for our community.  Established in 1996 to assist the Lambertville Police Department, we foster a watchful presence in the community, and serve as its "eyes and ears."  We aim for our web site to become a one-stop resource for information on what we are doing for the community as well as providing our readers with many safety resources including Citizen Alerts, Safety Tips, Local New Releases and contact numbers for reporting suspicious activity.

The Lambertville Neighborhood Watch Association promotes the education of residents and businesses of the city of Lambertville in crime prevention. It assists in the safeguarding of the community through voluntary activities, including public information, training, neighborhood watches, and area patrols.

Lambertville Neighborhood Watch is dedicated to community safety, with the goal of protecting our neighborhoods against suspicious and criminal activity through communication with our neighbors and our local law enforcement.

Volunteers are always needed!  Please contact us via email at info@lnjnw.org or call (609) 397-6901.

Comments and suggestions are welcome!  Please let us know you stopped by and how we can improve on providing our services to you.

AMERICA’S NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME

Tuesday, August 7th

7-10 pm

Please join the Lambertville Police Department and Lambertville Neighborhood Watch, and thousands of communities nationwide, for the 24th Annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event, to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness

• Support and participate in local anticrime efforts

• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police–community partnerships

• Send a message to criminals that our neighborhoods are aware of any suspicious activities

Lock your doors, turn on your porch lights, and spend the evening outside with your neighbors. Walk your dog, or just walk around your neighborhood.

Lambertville Neighborhood Watch will have an information table at the corner of Bridge and Union Streets, in front of Bank of America, where you may pick up information on joining the Lambertville Neighborhood Watch program. We need more volunteers!

As always, if you see any suspicious activity, call the Lambertville Police Department at (609) 397-3132, or in case of emergency, call 911.
